How to limit the growth of stem cells that promote tumor growth, a new study shows as curcumin (from turmeric) and piperine (from black pepper) is applied to the breast cells in the laboratory, the number of stem cells decreased, but no changes in normal cells, said researchers at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. If we can limit the number of stem cells, we can limit the number of cells with the potential to form tumors. Pepper and turmeric is beneficial for the prevention of breast cancer.
